Okay...finally me in a picture. Although here I look like Cousin It. |
Believe it or not this was our main destination. Clement Street. Non-touristy. Lots of shops and fun Asian markets. |
I wanted to buy everything. Aisles and aisles of fun and interesting sweets. |
We also went to Pier 39. My husband's favorite. This is very touristy, but I'll admit, it's a lot of fun. |
The Sea Lions. They are fun watch. |
Lucie at Pier 39 holding one of her goodies she got at one of the Asian markets on Clement street Pier 39 is packed with shops and restaurants. Bands and street entertainers. |
As a former Sacramentan, I know exactly how you feel. No matter how many times I've done it, every drive over the Bay Bridge into San Francisco left me in awe. Can't even tell you how much I miss northern California -- thanks for these beautiful photos. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope you can make it back soon. It is s a special place!
DeleteLooks like you all had a great day at a fun place. I have never been to Ca. so enjoyed this very much. XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pinky. I do love living here. I have tiny house, because it's expensive, but I do love weather, San Francisco, Sacramento, Tahoe, the people and coast.
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteNow THIS looks like a wonderful day! San Francisco is a fun place...I have been there a few times. That photo of the 3 of you is so cute. You are silly... :)
How fun that you lived close to Paris as well!!!

Heidi

DeleteWhat a fun trip -- great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Martha!
DeleteWhat a fun day trip. And even more fun because it was unplanned. I have never seen the Golden Gate Bridge in person. However, I have a niece who lives in LA and I visit a couple of times a year. I told her that the next time I come, I would love to drive or fly up to San Fransciso and see the bridge. I just think that is an American icon that everyone should see at some point in their life!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us on the trip with you.
Judy
I love San Fransisco and visit there at least once a year. I will be there during Thanksgiving this year since my husbands family about an hour away from there. Fun trip for you! I love that!
ReplyDeleteOh someday I want to make it up there! Would love to see San Francisco.
ReplyDeleteEmmy, I hope you make it up this way soon! There are a lot of fun place in and around San Francisco!
