It doesn't happen often, so when it does I am like a little kid!!! I got mail (and it wasn't a bill). It was real mail.....the cutest kind ever. Look what I got from Marica at, The Shop Around The Corner:

I haven't been bloggin long, I haven't joined many parties yet, Marcia made me feel so welcomed. I love my blogging community. |
I cannot tell you how much this meant to me. I received this pretty handmade party favor for taking part in Marcia's, "Snow In July" party. Her blog party was amazing and I was tickled and surprised when I learned she was making each of us a gift. Wonderful blog, wonderful lady! Thank you , Marcia!
Go see Marcia's wonderful blog!
Pretty crown tag. It's glittery too! Glad you joined my swap! It is a great way to meet other bloggers! I'll have the partners this weekend as I'm not visiting ME as her son and family are there now!
ReplyDeleteWarmly,
deb

ReplyDeleteKaren, I loved the gift you got from Marcia. Her handwriting is beautiful too. I also like how you displayed it all . So pretty. I am not so in tune with blogging even now and it's been a year. It because I am computer dumb. I will be able to put you on my favorites ,until my daughter shows me how to put you and many others on my side bar. xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteSusie, I am right with you. I have been blogging for just over a year now and Have just figured out some of the social aspects...the computer...yikes. Very difficult for me. I did figure out that you have to copy and paste the blogs button. (The little words under it. I don't have one...no idea how to make one) and then you add it when you go to the design and "Layout" section. Can be overwhelming! Glad you daughter can help. I always ave to ask my husband. :)
DeleteLove it! So beautiful. Totally looks like something perfect for you. So nice to get a nice surprise like that
ReplyDeleteTo get actual mail is awesome enough ... but that adorable crown is so fun. How generous?!? :)
ReplyDeleteOh my, Karen, I absolutely LOVE how you displayed your crown. Thank you so much, love. I'm glad you liked it, and "I" cannot tell you how much it means to me to hear that my simple little tags are received with so much kindness and gratitude.
ReplyDeleteSorry that I was delayed, but I've had several fairies pulling at me in all sorts of directions. ;)
The light with the tag is simply magical. I LOVE IT!!!
XOXO's,
Marcia
I keep staring at the way you displayed the Crown of Glory tag, and I can't help but think how beautiful unity looks. From the making of the tag to the the details of your display and photography...hand in hand, creativity in one accord.
ReplyDeleteThank you again, Karen.
