Paper Goods!

It's becoming quite the habit for me to pass by the clearance area in my grocery store....and can you blame me? Look what I found today!!

One pad of Italian scroll cheese papers! 25 sheets. Cool....they have a  parchment paper-like top. These will be great for a party or a project! 99 cents!

A big thick pad of paper marked, "Menu." Fun! 59 cents!!!

Look at the large roll of Italian scroll paper table runner. The end is at least 1/2 think....this will cover table after table! Amazing. 99 cents.

I love these black and white 12" round serving papers. It's a pad of 25. They can be used place-mats, on plate stands. 99 cents.

My only mistake? I should have purchased more!! I did get the last roll of the paper table runner.

What do think? Good purchase? What would you do with these??? I hope you like seeing my great finds!!

Bisous!!

  1. Amazing finds! Your grocery stores there certainly are better than mine! Mine only has groceries - well, it has nothing like you found. Great shopping!!

  2. Karen, you don't know how lucky you are to have found those papers. That tablet of paper with the scrolly stuff is 18.00 here. It is made by a company called Cake and they make high end papers. The table runner which is usually several feet is over $100. I wonder if these papers you got are seconds and they cleared them out. You know what? I'd rather have papers that are seconds at your prices than what I have been paying for them. You got the find of the year, and I'm thrilled for you.

  3. Wow...thanks Maggie. Makes me want to hop in the car and get all the rest!! :) I vaguely remember it when it was for sale in and around their deli....wish I had seen the prices. I just hope I can be creative and put to good use!

  12. Hi, I saw your comments on another blog and just wanted to stop by real quick to share a very easy way to minimize the spam you are getting. Make two changes to your comment settings. 1. Stop accepting anonymous comments. And 2. Turn on comment moderation for anything over a day or two old. (that way you will be notified if anyone tries to comment on your older posts, and you can decide if it's a comment you want to publish or not..) The only other suggestion I have is to read your blog comments in your blog, instead of via e-mail. Those of us who read in the blog get no, or almost no spam at all.

  16. How are you, Karen? Haven't seen you update in a month and just wanted to say you are missed. I'm taking a blogging leave and keeping things simpler at my new facebook page for now, but I'm still visiting with my favorite bloggy friends.
    Hope you are well.
