Christmas

I was tempted to start decorating on Thanksgiving evening but, I was able to hold off and start first thing in the morning on Friday. I am still rearranging and not 100% satisfied. However, I am already enjoying the Christmas lights in the early morning with coffee and in the evening with tea.

The old coal bucket and snowman in the sleigh.

My mini apothecary jars with with snow scenes. I found these little vintage deer in a bag of mixed decorations at Goodwill. I bough the mini trees at Michael's. I am still tempted to bleach them and give them the yellowy-white vintage look...

My hand-crafted tree and ornaments. I had fun making the tree topper. It's great to finally have them "on display"

So much more to do. Enjoy decorating and Merry Christmas!!!!

  5. I have just pinned one of your photos, I hope you don't mind, but it is one of the cutest, easiest ideas for apothecary jars at Christmas ever.

  7. Well, for some reason I thought I had stopped by and seen your post during the party, but I guess in all the excitement I forgot to comment. I did see the post though. Who could forget those jars. I made similar ones with polar bears in them but they had no lids. I like the apothecary jars with lids so much better.

I'm still giving out party favors today. In addition to the first two prizes won by Jan and Chrislyn, I made a tag for each Snow in July guest. I have most of my guests' addresses from over three years of blogging, but I'm still missing a few including yours. You may stop by the shop to email your mailing info if you like; however, if you prefer not to give out your mailing address online, I would totally understand.

Thank you again for joining us, Karen.
    Much love,
    Marcia
