Simple Fall Tablescape

Our nice summers in Central California make me long for fall days.

The warm colors....

The leaves will soon be falling

Evenings filled with candle light

Warm cozy sweaters

Pumpkins patches with the kids
Comfort food

Maybe, if we are lucky, towards the end of fall...a fire in the fireplace.
Until then, we are still in sandals, short sleeve shirts, and shorts. Longing for cooler days. It's coming. I can feel it.

    1. Thanks! I do love warm colors. Lots of reds in my house. Tonight I take Lucie ice skating. So I'll have cooler weather this evening in the rink! :)

  5. Thank you so much for dropping by.I love when you visit. I don't know California weather. I can tell you right now it's chilly here in Indy today. Very windy right now. I wonder if it just feels chilly after the blazing summer we had this year.:):) Smiles, Susie

    1. California is funny. I have family that lives an hour away, closer to the San Francisco Bay Area. It's much colder and foggy. Here in the Sacramento area very hot. It's going to be 96 this weekend. Then, we are one hour/one hour and half away from the mountains (Tahoe area) and it's cold. It will be snowing by November. :) Southern California...always warm and mild!! The heat here is dry. I heard about your hot summer. Ouch. I think we'll all appreciate the colder weather!!

  7. We enjoy a warm Fall here in Florida, too but I love the colors of Fall in the decor! So warm and cozy. I love your pretty things...you know just how much to put out without making it look cluttered. I'm still working on that skill! lol Happy Sunday!

    1. That's funny. I am always worried my decor is too plain and simple. Sometimes I am too realistic. I think I can't crowd the table because of the platters, etc. and that guests need to see each other over the centerpieces. I have to tell myself......it's a tablescape. An idea! It's for fun. I love everything you do. You have such a cute house, blog and style. Not only did I show my daughter your pretty pink sunset photos...I showed her your pretty lavender house in Florida. She's ready to move!

    1. Just watching the news this morning, it's supposed to be 96 this Saturday and Sunday. low-mid 90s all week. I am getting anxious. Hard to believe there can be such a difference in temperature. I always assume we are all in the same boat. :)
