Thrift Store Treasures!

I wasn't going to go today. I wasn't. No. No. No. I blame it on my mom. As I was driving home, after dropping the kids off at camp this morning, she reminded that my Good Will would be opening in 15 minutes. She joked that I should go before everyone grabs it all.   That's all it took.

Cannot keep it all, but I have my favorites.

Come to mamma....this one is mine.

Drool. I love all of this. Tempted to keep the Johson Bros. Transferware.  Maybe even start to collect the random browns. I love the blue Christmas tree piece....can I keep it with the INTENTION of re-doing my house in blues??

Fantastic Chrome Cake keeper and Divided Pyrex...

LOVE this. Tempted to keep it.....

WHy do I love him? And better yet, who is he?

Other side of my mysterious teapot. I really like this quirky guy.

Can you picture your silver in this on a buffet table? Sugar bowl for tea??

Milk glass shakers.....

Oh, Roger. Why? I try. I try to steer clear of you. Still, I always want more.

Art Deco love.

Waterford Linens....yes, I will peek inside:

Perfect for my blue and white china!!! Says they can be washed. I think I'll try. Tempted to take to the cleaners. In very good shape. I can be sure my mother was not there with red wine.
Okay......a few other goodies. Now, must clean it all, post some to Esty and hid it all from husband (and Hoarders)

I am joining the Colorado Lady for Vintage Thingies Thursday!

And....I am linking up with:

    1. Isn't that cute? I love blue and white. So pretty. :) I'd love to keep it, but it doesn't match a thing in my house...which is too bad, because my wedding service is blue and white too! LOL Hardly ever use it because it doesn't match anything. Next time around I'll be doing a more neutral color theme in the house. :)

    1. Shhh. Don't tell her that! :) If she "forces" me to go to the thrift store she cannot say I have too much in my house! :)

  6. There you go.. Goodwill. I just love going there, too. I have this one location in town that is always better than the rest. But wow, yours is so good! Early in the morning is right! I think I would be like you and want to keep things! Isn't it fun to keep and use and then sell? Have fun and, i did visit your Etsy store. Found myself hitting that little heart quite a bit!

    1. Thanks, Susie! I appreciate you favoring my items! More exposure!! Our thrift store here, in Woodland, Ca. Is really good. I am always finding great things. They roll out big bins and you can go through them before anything hits the shelf.

  7. Wonderful finds!! I love your tureen and the plates too, specially the one with the C'mas tree in it, so cute! Enjoy your loot, I'm like that too, I fall faster for this kind of things than for anything else! Thanks for the nice visit, I so appreciate it. Enjoy your weekend.

    1. hThanks, Fabby. I am keeping the soup tureen. I ave a thing for them. It's my third white one. Running out of room fast. :) I love the plates too. I have a thing for blue and white, yet it doesn't match my house at all. Might need to re-paint...a project like that might keep me away from GW for a day or two as well!

    1. Thanks! I like it too. My husband says it's hard to read. He is French though, might be because their cursive is so different. Too cool that it looks like your handwriting!

  17. Oh, I know what you mean about finding treasures. They are hard to pass up. I like the little tea pot guy too. No idea who he is either, but still so cute. I love the blue Christmas tree plate. For some reason, I think the blue china is the prettiest. My wedding china is even in blue. Have a wonderful weekend.
